AB Auto Equipment
AB Field privacy notice
Effective September 20, 2026
AB Field is a private field-service application operated by AB Auto Equipment for its authorized personnel. Contact Kenny@abautoequipment.com with questions about access, correction, or removal of application data.
AB Field stores field-service information entered by its users on their devices, including customer and job details, charges, inspections, photos and signatures where those features are used. Users choose when to export or share reports using the device’s sharing controls.
When the designated administrator connects QuickBooks Online, AB Field reads the connected company’s information, customers, supported service and non-inventory items, terms and tax codes. At the direction of the administrator or an authorized employee it creates estimates and invoices. It stores the connection identifiers, encrypted authorization tokens, administrator identity, temporary sign-in records, and submission identifiers, status and totals needed to operate the connection and prevent duplicate documents. Drafts and saved results are also stored on the device. AB Field does not collect QuickBooks passwords or payment-card details, charge customers, or automatically email documents.
QuickBooks information is used for AB Auto Equipment’s accounting workflow. The integration does not sell that information, use it for advertising or AI training, or make it available to unrelated users. Intuit operates QuickBooks; Cloudflare provides the backend, database and administrator authentication. These providers process information necessary to supply those services under their respective terms. Data may be processed in locations where the service providers operate.
The connection uses HTTPS, encrypted server-side OAuth credentials and administrator access controls. Native sign-in tokens are kept in the device Keychain. Employee invitations are single-use and expire after 20 minutes. Employee device access expires after 180 days and can be revoked by the administrator. Hashed activation and session records, employee attribution, cached catalogs and pending invoices support authorized access and offline syncing. No system can guarantee absolute security; users must protect their devices and accounts.
OAuth credentials are retained while the connection is active and removed from active application storage after a successful disconnect. Expired short-lived sign-in records are cleaned up during subsequent sign-ins. Submission history is retained for duplicate prevention and reconciliation. Device records remain until removed by the user or administrator. Contact the operator to request removal of retained records; applicable accounting requirements and provider backup retention may affect removal timing. Disconnecting does not delete estimates or invoices already stored in QuickBooks.
